Giving Back

We are proud to call Kansas City home. And giving back to the communities we serve is just one way we can help make KC a better place to live. That’s why Debbie Fleet and the Fleet Real Estate Group are committed to volunteer service.

Two organizations we regularly enjoy supporting with our time and financial support include:

The Micah Ministry – An urban, ecumenical outreach mission at Independence Boulevard Christian Church that helps the poor and needy in the historic Northeast area of Kansas City, Missouri. We regularly volunteer time serving meals to about 500 guests per seating, and working in the ministry’s clothing pantry. In addition to serving meals, a few times a year we provide the financial means to purchase the food for that night’s dinner. And most recently, we collected coats and blankets to donate to the Ministry as part of our recent Client Appreciation Event. In total, we collected about 15 large moving boxes filled with coats, blankets, and sweaters for the Ministry.

Make a Wish Foundation – This special organization’s mission serves a unique, and vital, role in helping strengthen and empower children battling life-threatening medical conditions. We recently had the opportunity to get involved by surprising a young Overland Park girl with a full room makeover!

Keller Williams Charities – We are grateful to work with a company that is also passionate about philanthropy. Each year Keller Williams Realty hosts RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate. On this day associates spend their time away from regular business and volunteer to serve organizations across the community and help people in need.

There are many worthy organizations across the Kansas City area. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to work with the charities mentioned here and welcome the occasion to learn about and help others!
